Our Story

 The original store, Lyon’s Sport & Novelty in Conneaut, Ohio,, was founded by my stepfather, A.E. Lyon and his brother, Bruce Lyon.

 

Initially started to finance their outdoor hobbies and interests, it soon grew to a full time business that was staffed by family. Through the years the store, and my stepfather, gained local fame and notoriety through his promotion and teaching of different fishing skills and techniques that nobody had ever seen before.

 

Though his story ended in February of 2008, his legacy lives on and a new chapter begins. And Lord God willing, Lyon’s Legacy Outdoor Sport will continue to write a new volume of his story for many years to come.
